The Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam is the largest museum for modern and contemporary art in the Netherlands. Opened in 1895 in Museumplein, it houses masterpieces from artists like Mondrian, Picasso, Lichtenstein, Haring, Appel, Dumas, De Kooning, Malevich, Koons, Kusama and many others.

The permanent exhibition showcases the evolution of art and design from 1880 to the present.
