Goldie broke into the English club scene in the early 90s with all the intention of leaving his mark from a good beginning, from the world of graffiti, where he was already a star. Goldie has an exceptional list of collaborators, including David Bowie, Noel Gallagher or KRS-One. In 1993 he first appeared on the cover of a magazine, for his interview with Rave Generator, but it would not be until 1995 that he would rise to worldwide fame thanks to his influential first album, "Timeless", considered a masterpiece of contemporary music Who got the platinum album. An album that would receive the enthusiasm of music criticism, among others of visionary Simon Reynolds, who was the first to point out the revolutionary and innovative character of this masterpiece. Goldie knew better than anyone to connect the English rave tradition with the Jamaican dub, so strongly rooted in the UK, creating a brutally innovative musical hybrid, which has lasted until today. This prolific creator, who also has a career as a film actor (played the role of Bullion in a James Bond movie in 1999), led "Timeless" live with the Heritage Orchestra at the Wilderness Festival, receiving enthusiastic acclaim. The following year I would repeat this performance as part of the Meltdown festival at the Royal Albert Hall in London. In January 2016, he was awarded the MBE at the Queen's New Year Honors.
